Review
of the Serious Toolworks Lathe
by Joseph M. Herrmann
Read what an independent reviewer has to say about the Serious
Toolworks SL2542 wood lathe. The review is from the summer 2010
edition of Woodturning Design.
Joseph Herrmann takes a four hour drive to Ligonier, Pennsylvania
to visit SL2542 lathe owner John McCain, Jr. After describing what
was done to try out the SL2542 the review concludes by saying "I
wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking
for a large, robust lathe on which to do some SERIOUS turning."
